Signs of Spring: the US Economy
A bird landed on the tree outside my kitchen window for the first time in a long time: it was a sign of spring. That day the sun was strong and warm. My neighbor planted seeds in peat pots on his window sill. More signs of spring.
The next day, clouds came in, the wind came up, the temperature dropped, and it felt like winter again. Today it snowed. But spring will come.
The US economy is showing signs of spring in many ways, although we still have the occasional winter day.
